Wordless Wednesday!
This 'note', along with a rock (it was sparkly) is what our oldest daughter gave her Daddy for his Birthday last weekend. Why its on a napkin, I have no idea, but it makes it even sweeter!
"Thanks for entertaining me through all my previous life, and supporting me through the roughest and most calmest oceans, seas, deserts, and times in my wonderful life all because of you!! -Macy"
I am not sure how rough her short life has been thus far, but apparently Daddy has always been there for her and she is grateful....
I am sure that it has been all of the chores that I make her do! I am a mean and hateful mother! HEHEHEHE

For those of us Over 30...
THE SPOILED UNDER-30 CROWD!!!
If you are 30 or older you will think this is hilarious!!!!
When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears With their tedious diatribes about how hard things were. When they were growing up; what with walking
Uphill... barefoot... BOTH ways
A bunch of crap like that on kids about how hard I had it
And how easy they've got it!
But now that... I'm over the ripe old age of Thirty, I can't help but look around and notice the youth of today. You've got it so easy! I mean, compared to my Childhood, you live in a damn Utopia!
And I hate to say it but you kids today you Don't know how good you've got it! I mean, when I was a kid we didn't have The Internet. If we wanted to know something, We had to go to the damn library and Look it up ourselves, in the card catalogue!!
There was no email!! We had to actually write Somebody a letter, with a pen!
Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the mailbox and it would take like a week to get there! There were no MP3' s or Napsters! You wanted to Steal music, you had to hitch hike to the damn record store and shop lift it yourself!
Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the DJ'd usually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up!
We didn't have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you Were on the phone and somebody else called they got a busy signal, that's it!And we didn't have fancy Caller ID either! When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It could be your school,Your mom, your boss, your Bookie, your drug dealer, a collections agent, you Just didn't know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances, mister! We didn't have any fancy Sony Playstation video Games with high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600! With games Like 'Space Invaders' and 'asteroids'. Your guy was a little square! You Actually had to use your Imagination!! And there were no multiple levels or Screens, it was just one screen Forever! And you could never win. The game just kept getting Harder and harder and Faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE! You had to use a Little book called a TV Guide to find out what was On! You were screwed when it Came to channel surfing! You had to get off Your ass and walk over to the TV to change the Channel and there was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons On Saturday Morning. Do you Hear what I'm saying!?! We had to wait ALL WEEK for cartoons, you spoiled Little rat-bastards!And we didn't have microwaves, if we wanted to heat Something up we had to use the stove ... Imagine that!
That's exactly what I'm talking about! You kids Today have got it too easy. You're spoiled. You guys wouldn't have lasted Five minutes back in 1980!

No offense to the Dads
I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that.'Why?' my daughter asked. 'Because it's been on the ground, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty, and probably has germs,' I replied. At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, 'Momma, how do you know all this stuff, you are so smart. 'I was thinking quickly. 'All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mom Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mom.' We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information. 'OH...I get it!' she beamed, 'So if you don't pass the test you have to be the dad. ''Exactly,' I replied back with a big smile on my face.

Thanks!
I wanted to send a big Thank you to all of our Veterans out there.
I just returned from the Veterans Day Assembly at my girls' school. The twins preschool class led the Pledge of Allegiance and Macy is in the choir and they sang 'Our Heros will Live On', by Teresa Jennings.
There were several Veterans in attendance and they were all honored by name.
We were brought to tears by a 3rd grader that sang the Star Spangled Banner and a special poem for the Veterans that were no longer with us.
The kids especially loved the motorcycles that ride around the circle in the front of the school. The kids line up along the sidewalk and carry signs of Thanks.....
There are so many Veterans in my life to be Thankful for. Here are a few.....

Mani and Pedi's
But the girls love love love it all. And I never could get them to sit still and we were always in awkward positions and they wore my patience then....UNTIL I put them in the sink! It works. They are in the right spot and I sit on the toliet (not going of course) and we paint away. They can't get up and go get something while they are drying....they can't move at all! It fabulous!
Just thought that I would share this wonderful new way to trap your kids and please them at the same time!
