WinterJam 2009
So people were there at 6 in the morning. I am not sure what the low was over night, but when we got there at 3 pm ( 3 hours before the show started) it was 17 degrees and there was snow on the ground!!!!! Macy and I stood in line for about 5 minutes and decided that it was tooooo cold to be out there. So back to the car we went. I tried to get Macy to nap and I read my book. We got in line at 5 pm when the doors opened and we stood in the snow for about 30 minutes! We ended up lucky and got really good seats. I was worried since it was first come first serve. The show started at 6 pm and at around 6:30, 1 and a half hours after the doors opened they told us that there were still people standing outside wanting in for the show! So we got our seats and watched the show! It wasn't over until 9:30 and our bladders were about to burst! BUT IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT! Our fav was definitely Toby Mac. He puts on a super great live show and we totally enjoyed it! In addition to who I list below, Francesca Battestelli, PureNRG and Stephanie Smith also performed. Here are some pics from the show!

The confetti at the end of the show looked fantastic. I am sure it ended the performance on a high note!
I had to laugh when I read that "Francesca Battestelli" performed. The name looks dangerously close to my own and I thought, WFH?!? :)

So my mom is one of the directors and creators of a music festival here in Minnesota. (Sonshine) I always LOVE watching Toby Mac and crew. So entertaining. I'm so glad you guys got in despite all the waiting people. Great pictures.
